Every photo is automatically scored for quality. These are the most common issues that lower your score, and what good looks like.
Image is blurry — try holding your phone steady or using better lighting

BadBlurry or camera shake
Image is too dark — try natural daylight or a brighter environment
GoodWell-lit, natural light
BadToo dark to see detail
Image is washed out — avoid direct flash, use diffused lighting
GoodEven, diffused lighting
BadWashed out or flash glare
Item is partially cut off — make sure the full item is in frame
GoodFull item in frame
BadItem cut off at edges
Background is distracting — use a plain surface or hang the item
GoodClean, plain background
BadDistracting clutter
Image resolution is low — this may look poor on listings
GoodHigh-res, crisp detail
BadLow-res or pixelated
