Patina analyses product images, extracts attributes, and generates descriptions. These systems are integral to the Patina platform. Your data is not used to train external systems.
We use the following categories of third-party services:
Hosting and infrastructure, to store your data and run our platform.
Enrichment processing, to power product enrichment and description generation.
Analytics, to understand how our platform is used and to improve our services.
Email, to send you communications about your account and our services.
We only share the minimum data necessary with each service, and we require all third-party providers to handle your data in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we're required to retain it for legal or regulatory purposes.
Product data (images, descriptions, attributes) associated with published listings may be retained on the Patina marketplace after account deletion if items have been sold or are part of active transactions.
Under UK data protection law (UK GDPR), you have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; correct inaccurate personal data; request deletion of your personal data; object to or restrict processing of your personal data; request a copy of your data in a portable format; and withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent.

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse. This includes encryption in transit, secure authentication, and access controls on our systems.
Patina Studio is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on our website. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
