Marketplace Commission
Your products are listed on the Patina marketplace at no extra cost. During early access, there is no commission. In future, Patina commission will apply to marketplace sales only. Sell on eBay, Vinted, or anywhere else? We will never take commission.

Do I have to sell through the Patina marketplace?
Every seller's products are listed on the Patina marketplace as part of the service. During early access, there is no commission on marketplace sales. Buyers browsing the marketplace can enquire directly with you about your pieces. Marketplace export to platforms like Vinted and eBay is coming soon.
What do I pay for?
During early access, the platform is free. When subscription plans launch, they will cover Patina Enrichment: description writing, condition grading, photo classification, and marketplace formatting. Listing on the Patina marketplace will be included with every plan.
Can I use the tools without selling on the marketplace?
Yes. Patina Enrichment, descriptions, and marketplace exports work independently of the Patina marketplace. You can list exclusively on Vinted and eBay if you prefer. The Patina marketplace listing is included but not mandatory for selling.
Do I pay commission on Vinted and eBay sales?
No. Patina commission only applies to items sold through the Patina marketplace. Your Vinted and eBay sales go directly to you. Patina just gives you the tools to list better on those platforms.
What happens to my listings if I cancel?
When subscription plans launch, your products will remain on the Patina marketplace for 30 days after cancellation. Descriptions, attributes, and images you created remain yours. You can export your data at any time.
How does payout work?
Payout details will be confirmed when marketplace transactions launch for all sellers. Currently, orders are processed via PayPal. Future plans include scheduled payouts to seller bank accounts after buyer confirmation.
Is there a free trial?
During early access, the entire platform is free for all sellers. When subscription plans launch, trial details will be announced.
What counts as an "active listing"?
Any product that's published to at least one marketplace (Vinted, eBay, or Patina). Draft products don't count against your limit. Sold items are archived and don't count either.
