    Every listing on Patina Studio is structured for transparency. Products are analysed by Patina, condition-graded on a seven-point scale, and described with the same rigour, regardless of who's selling. The platform sets the standard, not the seller.

    The Condition Scale

    Seven grades. No ambiguity.

    "Good condition" means different things to different sellers. On Patina, it means exactly one thing. Our seven-point scale is applied consistently across every listing, backed by structured detail fields that tell you precisely what to expect.

    01New with Tags
    Unworn, original tags attached. The item has never been used.
    02New without Tags
    Unworn but tags have been removed. No signs of use whatsoever.
    03Excellent
    Worn once or twice. No visible signs of wear. Indistinguishable from new to most eyes.
    04Very Good
    Gently worn with minimal signs of use. No significant flaws, may show very slight wear consistent with careful ownership.
    05Good
    Worn and showing signs of use, but well-maintained. May have minor pilling, light fading, or small marks. All noted in the condition detail.
    06Fair
    Noticeable wear throughout. Visible flaws such as moderate pilling, fading, marks, or minor damage. Priced to reflect condition.
    07Poor
    Significant wear or damage. Listed for the value of the brand, material, or rarity despite condition. Full transparency on all flaws.

    Every description is backed by the same data that powers the condition grade, the title composition, and the product detail page. What you read is what the system knows. Nothing invented, nothing embellished.

    Buyer Protection

    If it's not as described, we make it right.

    Every purchase on the Patina marketplace is protected. If an item doesn't match its listing (wrong condition, wrong size, missing details) you can return it. The structured condition data means disputes are resolved against defined criteria, not opinions.

    Returns are straightforward. The structured condition data is the reference point for any dispute. If the listing says "Pilling: None" and the item has pilling, that's clear.
