How It Works
Upload your photos. Patina classifies every image, extracts every attribute, researches the brand, writes the description, and formats it for every marketplace.
01
The moment your images land, Patina classifies each one: hero shot, brand label, care label, detail, defect. It assigns roles, scores the evidence quality, and flags if key shots are missing. A product with a clear hero, readable label, and detail shots scores highest and gets the richest enrichment.
This isn't uploading to a folder. It's building an evidence set for everything that follows.
What Patina sees
02
From those classified images, Patina extracts structured product data. Brand, model, materials, colour, sizing, closure type, condition, over forty attributes pulled directly from what's visible in the photographs.
Condition is assessed systematically: pilling, fading, marks, sole wear, each graded from "None" to "Heavy". The condition narrative writes itself from these structured fields.
Extracted attributes
03
Extraction tells you what's in the photos. Enrichment adds what buyers want to know. Patina researches the brand, identifies the product line, and adds the context that makes a listing sell.
This is the step that separates a good listing from a great one. A seller might know the brand. Patina adds the context.
Enriched context
04
Everything Patina knows flows into a single premium description. Product facts, brand context, provenance, and construction composed into one flowing description. Titles are composed from attributes with character limits handled automatically for each marketplace.
Your listing goes live on the Patina marketplace. Buyers find your products alongside every other seller's inventory, all graded to the same standard. Export to other marketplaces is coming soon.

Your Settings
Every element of the composed output is controlled by a toggle. Turn off brand context and Patina rewrites without heritage detail. Turn off condition tags and they vanish from titles instantly. Turn on measurements and they appear in the footer. Your settings, your listings.
Seller Workflow
From uploading your first photo to tracking your sale. Every stage of the Patina workflow, with tips at each step.

Upload your product photos. The more angles the better — hero shot, label, detail shots. Patina AI will analyse these automatically.

Patina analyses your images and fills in brand, category, condition, size, material, colour and RRP. This takes 30–60 seconds.

Patina generates professional AI studio images from your photos. The Packshot (Slot 0) is used as the hero image across all marketplaces.

Click Publish to make the product live on the Patina storefront and unlock marketplace listing.
Enrichment must be complete and at least 1 image must exist.

Each marketplace gets a tailored title and description automatically composed from your product data.

Products listed for 28+ days without a sale are flagged for repricing. Review suggested price reductions in the Repricing section.

When something sells, mark it as sold on the channel it sold on. eBay sales are detected automatically via webhook.

All sold products appear in Orders with sale price, cost, profit, days to sell, and channel. Use this to understand what sells best and where.
